Pros

Reel part, the swivel, the mounting, and the quality are all fine. Reel works great coming in and out. I like the part of the reel that moves the hose back and forth horizontally to retract better.

It works pretty well except at times there is a certain point in the retracting process that it is slow in reeling the hose up. It pulls out easily and still returns on its own gracefully. The hose is evenly distributed around the drum as it retracts.... Read More

It's a good deal for the money i paid, but i'm not so certain if there isn't a better option these days. It definitely is nice to have. It is awesome. The price from amazon. Basically a good value.

Cons

Hose not retracting all the way from the 1st use. There is no simple way to disengage it to realign it as is seen in the cheaper models.

If the feed-ring that guides the hose back onto the reel somehow falls behind or moves ahead of the hose as it rewinds, it causes a hopeless bind. I suspect the type of hose material used expands when hot--expanding so much that it won't clamp well. T... Read More

After being frustrated with this and having one for only a few monthsi began looking for different designs

A 75ft rubber hose might be a snug fit inside the reel

I wish it came in 100ft length
