This insert is fantastic. It does exactly what it promises to do. One small critique.

Composite body with formica-like finish on top. Thick and strong to prevent tear out.

The color is so bad that i cannot use it as it messes up my accuracy with causing a glare.

I was quite pleased with the first one i purchased for my table saw so i decided to get another one for my miter saw

There is no movement in the insert like the flimsy plastic one that comes with the saw

Way more rigid than the plastic twopiece that came with the saw

I generally make my own inserts but when i saw this i thought the price is right lets give it a try

Great price fits perfect just wish i had a choice of color

Packaging/appearance

Make sure you align and calibrate your blade before you cut into the insert
