Pros & Cons
Pros
I love the gripper so we'll see. If it gets hogged out from use i will use it for a dado insert.
These inserts are well made and have enough adjustments that once adjusted, they fit very snuggly. Has an adjustment screw for a snug fit. It's fine quality and fit my dewalt inset perfectly.
Running the blade up through the insert and a piece of clamped down plywood went without issue. Used digital angle gauge to square the blade at full height before any cutting was done. I wish, however, they made it clear that you will need to retro fi... Read More
It is updated and comes pre-chamfered for the dwe7491rs. Works ok but paperwork should not state that it fits the 7480. Set screws adjust via set screws on the 4 contact points of the table as well as on the ends.
Product is well machined and made from quality material. Adjustable, thick sturdy plastic. Material is very hard and the finish on the top is smooth and very low friction.
Cons
Buyer beware. There was no company contact info with the purchase. Most people had to sand/chisel to get the thing working.

I’m sure you could modify even more but still able to get just over 2 inches of blade height before it interferes with the insert

Was able to easily extend the cutout to support the riving knife with a jigsaw
I did not make the cut all the way i left about 116 of inch left behind the riving knife
I grinded about 18 from the back of the riving knife to not having to cut the plate all the way
Competitiveness
An essential addon for the dewalt dwe7499gd 10inch jobsite table saw with rolling stand and guard detect
Easy to intall and snagly fit on my dewalt 7492
I wish however they made it clear that you will need to retro fit a riving knife or provide instructions rather than relying on commenters
I can use my riving knife if i cut close to edge but cant use my dewalt guard

The instructions state that it cannot be used with the factory riving knife but i was able to clamp the insert to the table and cut another line almost through the end of the insert

Bought this for my dw7491rs saw i had to machine out on the blade side of the insert to make it fit but that looks like more of a flaw in how the top of my saw was cast
