Believe this can be fixed by cleaning up the underside myself but its not effecting the cut so no real need unless it bothers you

Top lip is only about 316 thick 4 shim points to him were not enough support so he used aluminum tape around outside flange to bring it up flush wtable top

I had to chisel out the precut gap

With no adjusting screws i had to shim it to make it flush
