The zoom feature works but does not have any way to lock it into a given amount of zoom

It slides freely from minimum to maximum and while it will stay where you put it turning the flashlight vertical doesnt cause it to move or change its zoom general handling of the light may cause it change unintentionally

The only thing im not a fan of is the square projection on the tight focus setting for distance although it did state that was the case so it wasnt a surprise

Instructions are not included for charging the batteries which might seem straight forward but it would be very easy to insert the batteries into the charger in the wrong polarity position the metal tabs on the charger are marked in chinese
