Of the three shop lights i got one was defective

I got 3 grow bulbs and none made good contact in one light but they all worked fine in the others

The other observation is the pictures show these lights close to the plant

That said having the lights closer for starting seeds and small plants i still think the light needs to be at least 12 away

Not sure why but i can only guess their may have been faulty wiring or the ballast is no good

Had it 2 12 months and light bulb already went out
