The lenses concentrate the light directly below without significant divergence thus increasing par values and subsequently canopy penetration

Previously most led grow light manufacturers focused no pun intended on spreading the leds coverage however this isnt ideal as 99 of people purchasing these lights are not growing rooms of microgreens which would require the lighting to be wider and dispersed
