Bought 12 pair and only had one pair lose its lighting ability but only for one set of lights which fortunately did not effect our performance

They have 6 settings to them3 colors flashing all 3 colors fading in and out 3 solid glowing colors red only flashing blue only flashing and green only flashing

Although they do run big i wouldnt let that deter you from buying them for a child

They have an onoff button and you click the little button to make a different motion come on

As they wont be able to grip the platters properly and the cotton will slip around on the platters i havent tried vinyl yet with these but the dj controller i use will not allow it
