The lamps are a little brighter than the halogens, but use a fraction of the electricity. I use these for my desk lamp and they are the perfect amount of light.

Some of the lights in my picture are these led lights and some are halogen

We thought we would have to get all new under cabinet lighting because the old bulbs would get really hot and we kept having to replace them

If youre looking for g8 led bulbs to replace the halogens in your ge microwave it can be a confusing and frustrating search

While most seem to look the same most will not fit the ge because they have a base with rounded sides that wont fit into the narrow rectangular socket in the microwave

Making it worse is that you cant really see that the sides are rounded in the pictures unless you look very carefully
