You simple hold down the power button about 3secs to switch on light you then press button once to cycle through the colours warm white natural white cool white and red flashing sos light

The battery seems to last really well i currently have the light running at nights and evenings to test it so far im on 24 hours of full brightness and one out of four bars remaining on the battery
