    Unfortunately there is no way to place this switch in the very corner closest to the outside edges

    If you want to mount the switch with its long sides running the same direction as your counters you will have to push the switch an inch or more away from the front edge of the cupboard because of the power cable going into or lighting cable leaving the switch
