Pros & Cons

Pros

The lock feature works wonders, it is very sturdy and every piece can be opened single handed. The magnetic lock is a little finicky. Everything is one handed accessible and easy to get to.

The p2 is a good tool for what it supposed to do. I work with wood and metal and still feel like this tool could use some refinement. Who needs a file on their multi tool?

It seems safer and much faster to access tools negating the need to open the tool completely. The awl's precision-screwdriver tip is excellent for adjusting my glasses.

Lets be honest having to open pliers when you need them is not ideal and its something i have been annoyed with for a while with leatherman

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I hated to have to open my old leatherman when opening a bottle

Some quibbles ive seen out there are disappointment that the leatherman bit set is not used that a higher end steel was not used for the blade and tools may pop out when using wire cutters

While i would not object to any of these being addressed during the time i have daily carried this tool none of these issues has ever detracted from the effectiveness of the tool

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Only had the tool coming loose issue one time and i’ve deployed it many so that’s good

Ive owned this for about 4 months now and given it hell

Used it closed as a hammer flathead screwdrivers as prybars twisted the pliers until the tips are half an inch away from each other used it as a chisel and somehow this thing has managed to not even get scratched on the outside and just some super minor dentsscratches on the pliers and big flatheadprybar

I didn’t want the bulk of the dual blades but the serrations on this single blade make the knife uncomfortable and basically unusable for paring like paring an apple
