Pros

It's a gorgeous journal whether for personal use or to share. He likes writing, so i thought it would be a nice gift. This journal is perfect. Absolutely love it.

The only problem is the journal is not refillable. The paper accepts fountain pen ink easily. It holds both ink and watercolor very well.

The craftsmanship is amazing. Great quality and craftsmanship. Thank you to whoever hand crafted this journal you did a awesome job.

Leather smells amazing. The paper is lush. The leather smells good and i love the antique style.

Cons

The pages are old and covered with something <greasy food fingers>. Look at thoughtspace products instead. All these products have a flap so unless the person carefully places the book in the bag you are going to catch a flap and bend it.

This notebook is slightly nicer than what you might find at office max but it is certainly not worth the $50 dollars i paid for it.
