The best way to darken the leather is to use it! This bag is amazing! Has a faint pleasant leather smell and lovely finish. It smells great.

Big, but not as big as my mec hockey bag for work in the patch. Larger than expected capacity.
The bag is beautifully crafted, thick leather. Looks great and very sturdy. The colour isn't the same as the picture but it states that it darkens as it ages.
Cons
The leather is very stiff and the zippers look very cheap. The shoulder straps are so long that the bag hangs awkwardly well below the knees. Stained dots are littered all over and looks possibly used with bad creasing from shipping folded.

As it is leather it is a little heavier than a fabric bag and you will have to air it out when you get it as the one i got had a very strong leather smell to it
