No awkward smells feels sturdy clean not rust or mold i did a lot of research before picking this outthat said some of the build decisions to reduce the price knock off one star

In particular the entire thing is leather but the backing behind the slots where you slide the card in is very very thin and filled with a tissue paper thin cardboard
