Pros

It is so cute and vintage! The cover is gorgeous, the craftsmanship is gorgeous. The paper, the cover and the clasp are all lovely.

Small is a little hard to write in and use, but seems to be a bit sturdier. However this journal fills up a little more than the palm of your hand and is convenient as a small carry with you journal. Paper is coarse, but to be expected for its style.

Cons

The pages are 31/2 x41/2 inches and the thickness of all the pages held together is a little over 1/2 inch. But it is too small to open and sit in a chair and write in.

There are these prong things they used on the latches that are not shown in any of the pictures. The other end of the binder has brads holding the fastener on and cut flush with the back. At least the clasp works.
