Its made of real leather and the paper inside appears to be traditionally made cotton paper

The only thing i might say is relatively not amazing about this is that the edges of the paper are sort of smushed together making it difficult to turn the pages

The journal came wrapped in a nice protective plastic and in a very nice wandering box i did not need to gift wrap the journal it also contained a postcard

All the pages are traditionally bound the wrap that goes around the book makes sense a lot of wrapped ones just dont its got a cute key that slips into an strap to hold the entire thing shut

They appear homemade and the edges are deckled
