The only way not to get this flap that covers the zipper is yo fold that flap all the way back before zipping or unzipping

The only thing the color is more of a deep manly red not pretty pink as in the image

One of the zippers sometimes gives a little trouble getting stuck in the flap as some others have mentioned but it is not a big deal if you pay a little attention when unzipping it
