Eugene peterson is the translator of the message bible. The book steps through the two books of samuel and ends with the king's death in 1 kings. Eugene. Peterson.

Eugene peterson makes you laugh while at the same time makes you think. Leap over a wall is another strong addition to the peterson corpus. The chapters marry up in both and allow you to soak in peterson's reflections.

Cons

The read is good but the condition of the book was poor. The book is in fine condition but the cover is different and older than the picture indicated.
