The dye glows brightly and in pitch dark is not that dissimilar to seeing the light emitted by a glow stick on bonfire night. Probably saved me a fortune compared to a mechanic diagnosing the issue.

After emptying into the coolant reservoir radiator top expansion chamber basically wherever you add your antifreeze i just ran the engine to circulate the coolant and pressurise the system and then immediately went to work looking for leaks

With a uv torch its extremely obvious

After a week of driving and checking it again it transpires that the thermostat seal had failed in an area you couldnt see but this stuff put a sign on it saying look here glow was now clearly visible in the area

I bought this dye on the off chance and clearly could see a leak by the thermostat tubing
