First i ordered two twopacks of bulbs and one of the four bulbs was dead on arrival

The return and exchange was simple

With all four of the bulbs wired in the same circuit with the dimmer switch they would glow to a very low dim when i turned on the switch

The dimmer wouldn’t change the brightness of the bulbs at all

If i turned it off the bulbs would remain on with the faintest of glow

The dimmer took the bulbs from extremely bright down to a very low dim and once you turned off the switch all bulbs went completely dark

These newer edisonstyle led bulbs are so efficient that even with four in the circuit it wasn’t enough to trigger the switch to work appropriately

The downside to this is that the resistor is drawing power when the lights are on and therefore reducing the energyefficiency of led circuit but with a 20k ohm resistor it’s only adding an additional 0
