I think this game is better then agricola, caverna and perhaps feast of odin (haven't played that one enough. The best i can imagine is your family works together over several generations as developers with further ties in investments.
Cons
This is a boring, *, overlong game. Just another excuse fir printing pretty cards full of symbols. Just reading the instructions would take most of the first hour.
