Le creuset is always fabulous. This one doesn't disappoint. Massively impressed with this unit.
It's great to sear steaks and veggies, and importantly is easy to clean. Perfect for searing after sous vide.
Nothing beats my grill and charcoal and wood chips. No problems with inside finish, and perfect stove top grilling. Enameling makes a huge difference -- plain cast iron is hard to get properly seasoned so it releases in every nook and cranny.
The pan is hot enough when you drop a drop of water into the pan and it sizzles and evaporates. Needs less heat, ok to put in the oven up to 500 degrees. Only thing to be careful of is the piping hot handle while cooking.

There was not enough difference to warrant the hassle of the using the grill for steak in lousy weather
