Pros
Pencils are great for cleaning coins that only have dirt and crud on them. Also make a pencil that is pointed like the others but has a fiberglass center. Works great on coins found with a metal detector.

Note they dont work on coins that are corroded

When the metal gets corroded like us large cents often will theres not much that will bring them back

Most nonsilver coins you find with a metal detector have years of dirt that is hard to remove without damaging the coin

They are about 4 long and the steel wool one is double ended
