Its just as bright but doesnt quite light the room the same because it doesnt shine upwards towards the base

One caution these will not fit into a typical light fixture as they are about 5 inches diameter and longer than a standard bulb

Maybe if the plastic that surrounds the led were clearer it would give off more light

I have no way of measuring the extra light but it looks equivalent to a 150 watt light bulb

Fits in a standard socket base however the bulb is large so dont expect it to fit into a lamp shade
