I have a 1st generation bose sound dock fantastic sound quality and bought a 30 pin dolry hifi stone from amazon to try and turn it into a high quality nonbluetooth air play speaker rather than consign the bose to the skip due to connector issues 30 pin rather than lightening and also the 30 pin didn’t charge later idevices

Was really disappointed that the amazon dolry listing at the time didnt tell me that it wouldnt work with my first gen bose due to my bose not providing the right power outputs

In my frustration i jailbroke my first gen ipod touch which the bose does charge to try and deploy the airfloat app from cydia to allow me to turn it into an airplay receiver however the ios limitations on my ipod 3
