Pros

The launch x431 code reader is a great extended obd2 code scanner. It works with a great variety of manufactures and gives you access to more functions than just the obd scans. Great for the needs of someone who is not a mechanic, and it's much better... Read More

Product is affordable. Would recommend. Highly recommend. This saved me so much time.

It comes with a pre-programed sd card which as i found, has the lastest software version. The instructions are rather skimpy but it was easy to figure out if you go on youtube. The user interface is easy to use and understand.

Cons

The graphing is useless. It's able to graph only a subset of generic pids. Unacceptable,inexcusable, intolerable failures to communicate/interact.

Observing a code in the latter mode requires 6 or 7 button presses to back out to the top menu, and another couple to enter the obdii menu. The serial number is no good, the update website gives download software that is not even for this scan tool.

I am very pleased with the scanner since i can access the transmission air bag and abs brakes of my 2004 nissan armada

It was one you cant disable and it had to do with the stability control system
