Pros

Late bloomer is an entertaining action-packed yarn that is fun to read. There was some suspense and a romance. Have been reading fern michaels for years.

Great read from start to finish. Great author, great story love the way the story flows. This author never disappoints.

Cons

The dialogue is too simplistic and the book was about 300 pages too long. This book was published because the author has enjoyed past best-sellers, and name recognition will sell it.

While the romance between cady and boomer is rather sweet, it also feels contrived, like warmed-over romantic comedy dreck.
