Pros & Cons
Pros
The tape measure has a built in pencil sharpener and writing pad. Although it isn't a carpenters sharpener, it is very useful.
Laserjamb pms25 has both metric and imperial (standard) units on the tape. I use standard & metric increments in my different designs. It has millimeter denotation markings which is extremely useful for precise engineering work.
No more guessing or counting lines or having to explain to someone how to read a tape. It’s so easy to read, both sides, which is important to me when taking measurements for construction, and is priced really well. It's a very worthwhile purchase.
The spring on this tape measure is somewhat high quality, i like the belt clip, and the casing does not feel so aggressive. Both the thumb and finger locks work correctly. Clip is strong.
It has a standout length of over 6 feet. Good retraction, easy to read. We are in the middle of a major home renovation so needed a measuring tape that could stand up to a lot of work.
Highlights
Quality
Quality is nice and its easy to read
I found this one on amazon and was pleasantly surprised with the quality
I did end up buying it though and was expecting subpar quality that barely worked just because it wasnt a name brand
Price
I did choose this over the stanley fatmax standardmetric version because i prefer the scale in millimeters and not centimeters ... Read More
Competitiveness
This is my second tape measure of this design my original fastcap finally died after 20 years and i’ll never go back to the competition
I have a number of these fastcap tapes and they are hands down the best you can buy
Not much larger than a 16 made by other companies
Its also not as sturdy as my stanley fatmax blade armor standard tape so i probably would not use this for everyday industrial use

It is super bulky though so i would not have bought it if i was just measuring furniture or smaller items this is only necessary for measuring entire rooms
