The box on the adapter the day i plugged it in so that was a disappointment but i fixed it with some electrical tape which was the same color as the adapter so it worked and the product still works well to the day

The dead one was returned at no cost to me and very quickly refunded the cost to my card

I wouldnt recommend using the battery as it is very hard to get the battery out so i just use the adapter

The only thing i dont like is that you cant have one solid color on all the time the best you get is all the lights on then fade after a few seconds and fade back on
