If you want to trim edges in an ecologically sound manner part of that is accepting that different materials have different properties

I have to use it at a more oblique angle and be more careful around tougher weeds and hard surfaces but it indeed does work

If youre into cutting back on plastic waste you should want to reuse the same spool rather than throw it away any ways
