Pros
A little pricey, but worth it. The richness of the wood grain is top notch. It's nice to be to support a place in need right now, even if modestly and indirectly.
Silicon legs hold board nice and securely. This board stays on my countertop. The pattern design is very complimentary to our kitchen.
It's not so big that it takes up a lot of counter space, yet ample for our needs. Thick wood, thick wood, feet and grips.
A beautiful cutting board. Fantastic butchers block. Looks amazing.
Cons
This board was lightly used and never put in the dishwasher. The description also states that the board is oiled and waxed, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

The title name of this product ends with maple while one of the answered questions clarifies that them main surface is actually oak

Ok you are ecofriendly i get it that does not mean you have to print the instructions on brown paper with faded green ink see picture

And if you actually bothered to reach for a magnifying glass and try to read the instructions on the back you might notice that most lines are not even printed completely both sides are cut out

I hate to give critical review considering i actually like the product but the key to keeping it in good shape is in maintaining it properly and these instructions are practically useless as far as i can tell

I had to send the first one back because only one side was sealed

Being elevated allows for air drying so moisture doesnt collect on the bottom
