Its much easier to select a writing implement from your pencil case slap it into your quiver and be on your way than to fumble around carrying a pencil or pen in hand along with the notebook

I like that when the pens are removed it makes no impact on how the moleskine lays flat when writing but you need to remove both pens

If it wasnt for the price i would have bought another
