Pros
This guard is as valued as his other tools and probably prevents a lot of cuts to his thumb. I manufacture communication cables and got this to use when i straighten the wires with my thumb, works great and protects my thumb.
This thumb guard fits snugly but not to tight. I have small hands and the large size was a bit snug on my thumbs initially.
Cons
Something is amiss here, these will not fit any finger or thumb. It is labeled adult large but maybe mislabeled.
Maybe thats why it busted at the seems after 2 days? Returning them. Beware future buyers.

My thumb is 1516 across with about a 3 circumference at the widest part the knuckle

These were a too small for my thumb but i soaked them in hot water and stretched them over a screwdriver handle to dry
