Edges are safety ground with no sharp edges.

The wood stock is good solid hardwood, and all edges and corners are rounded so it won't catch a fret and dislodge it from the fret board.

While a thorough re-hydration seems to take care of body issues, it never fully restores the shrunken fretboard.
