I wish i would have taken measurements for you guys but from my memory of installing last night the magnet goes about 3 to 4 inches down from the mounting bracket and the diameter of the bottom of the magnet is about 3 inches

The door wires are not colored in a way that lead you to the correct polarity

They will work if you get it wrong but the bass will cancel itself to some point or they will not sound right paired with your rear speakers
