Great honing stone. Sometimes the stones are a little crookedly set into the plastic handle, it still sharpens you just have to be careful. Replaced a worn stone in a lansky sharpening set.

If you use a standard oil or water block type stone and are used to them and are consistent at holding the correct angle by all means stick with them
