Pros

The lamey is the best fountain pen on the market. These pens are sturdy workhorse pens. I especially like the metal pocket clip on the safari and vista models.

This is a lamy vista medium nib with the herbin orange indien ink over a clairefontaine triomphe paper. Comes with a lamy cartridge of blue ink as well. Capacity with a z28 converter is good enough to last me a week between refills. Also ink sloshing ... Read More

It's a real pleasure to use, and it hasn't skipped once. Better to buy it than leave it.

Cons

After arriving 2 months late lasted maybe a month of medium use. Cheap and not anywhere near a fine nib. One gets what one pays for.

The nib is incredibly hard/rigid and on finer papers has a tendency to cut/gouge. The lamy converter is very plasticky! Extremely scratchy and very questionable flow in several directions.
