Pros

Only complaint is that the nib is scratchy, even on my best paper. The ink in the supplied cartridge flows well, doesn't feather much, and won't bleed through the average note taking tablet.

I write very tiny and this nib is perfect. It writes quite smoothly. Great for a solid writer and conversation piece.

Extra-fine nib is my favorite because it writes on just about any quality of paper without bleeding through. I do have other pens that write much thinner than ef vista but taking overall performance into account, this is my go to pen.

Cons

Pilot ef is a bit too thin for my tastes, and would probably be best suited for calligraphy. I use the lamy ink cartridges an it still wont write without skipping.
