Pros

This one outshines all my waterman pens. Even weekly pen maintenance is therapeutic. The color of the pen is such a gorgeous deep purple/burgundy color.

It's metallic and matte. Very good value as well, as they are not ridiculously priced.

Cons

The lamy's lines are inconsistent, prone to skips and the pen writes with higher drag. The nib is not smooth, very scratchy even on good paper. No ink comes out even with a fresh cartridge. Figured it might have been because the ink hadn't flowed thro... Read More

I donʻt get nearly the writing life out of waterman pens and cartridges as i do with the lamy pen

Great nib and ease of refills with the refillable cartridge

Old fashioned german quality from the modern design to the production

I am having issues with the refill not working but overall happy with it

I immediately fell in love but the price was very steep over 50

Not only was it available it came with 5 additional cartridges and was about half the price

Packaging/appearance

The writing is smooth ink flowing evenly with just a slight feed back from the paper youre writing on

Competitiveness

This is a great pen for anyone and a nobrainer for a first purchase

I love the act of handwriting although i am by no means an expert at caligraphy
