Pros

Lamy fountain pen is a great writer at an affordable price. The broad nib is the smoothest and the line is the boldest. I plan to get the al in another color and an ef nib to use with my ink and wash watercolor sketching.

It's metallic and matte. Perfect companion to my rotring rapid pro mechanical pen.

Cons

When you write quickly you have intermittent ink flow and the ink color is noticeably lighter than it really is. The lamy's lines are inconsistent, prone to skips and the pen writes with higher drag.

This is a fake product. This one goes in the drawer, pending the trash can.

I donʻt get nearly the writing life out of waterman pens and cartridges as i do with the lamy pen

Great nib and ease of refills with the refillable cartridge

Old fashioned german quality from the modern design to the production

I am having issues with the refill not working but overall happy with it

Price

I immediately fell in love but the price was very steep over 50

Not only was it available it came with 5 additional cartridges and was about half the price

Packaging/appearance

The writing is smooth ink flowing evenly with just a slight feed back from the paper youre writing on

Competitiveness

This is a great pen for anyone and a nobrainer for a first purchase

Very good value as well as they are not ridiculously priced

I love the act of handwriting although i am by no means an expert at caligraphy
