Pros & Cons
Pros
Fiberglass wicks are more durable after having been exposed to the elements. Unlike the rope wicks, which quickly disintegrate in the face of the elements, these fiberglass wick bounce back.
Cons
The wick is much too thick and long. Does not fit into the tiki torch tabletop lamp as indicated. These got sent back.

These last much longer and stay lit better than the rope wicks but i cant help but wonder if you could just buy rope fiberglass or otherwise and make wicks for far less than these cost
