Product is perfect for germs, spills, miscellaneous trash and easy to clean. Fit perfectly on my desk, over my calendar. Protects unfinished puzzle and loose pieces from cat meddling.

It is thin enough to cut, but heavy enough to stay flat (used a hairdryer to flatten) it is clear so anything you put under it is visible. It lays flat and is easy to clean.

All 4 placemats were completely cut through. Edges are all jagged and none of the corners are rounded. Not very professional for the price paid.

The thickness and type of plastic is just not what was needed if it won't flatten. Probably works for its purpose whenever it flattens out but will scrape you and be a total eyesore in the process.
