As it shows in the picture you can fit the lead for the external drive in

It is well made and keeps all my equipment tidy although the padding on the case may bend the metal surface of the seagate hard drive which may have been the cause of the wires not being flat in the mesh compartment

If you lose it you will have to buy another one rather than grabbing your phone charging cable

Only had the item for 24 hours but so far the external driv fits in ok and looks like it will do the job of protecting the external hard drive whilst not is use
