They had a low grade import faucet already that couldnt be repaired but had same union size as this faucet

They didnt want to spend the money on a t and s or to pull sink off wall like the t and s would have required to be used

Repair parts for a t and s can easily cost more than this whole faucet

I wouldnt necessarily spec this faucet to be used throughout a whole big busy restaurant but you could have one installed and buy a spare to use for parts or to just quickly swap faucet if need be ha

Altho a t and s hardly ever has to be fully replaced
