The kevo is a sturdy, good-looking lockset. It's nice to be in bed and make sure that the doors are locked just by asking alexa. The unit works with a little lag time between touching the lock and it performing.

Qwikset's kevo lock works with android and apple devices. The lock works via bluetooth. While the procezs is a bit clunky, it does work as advertised.

Kwikset says they have a sensor that prevents unlocking/locking from outside the door but the sensor does not work reliably. Takes too long to connect and lock/unlock, way longer than a key. Gave up and just used the key.

Kevo gen 1 lock is glitchy and not compatible with many phones. If they produce a newer model that connects to other hubs like smartthings i may consider purchasing it.
