Pros

Keys operate nice and clean without sticking. The key fits in smoothly without getting stuck or having to lift the handle.

Ordered these after purchasing a new house. The lock and handle kits are very sturdy. There are other companies who make door knobs and locks, but having kwikset locks on my doors (both in/outdoors) puts my mind at ease.

Kwikset locks are sturdy, reliable and themost preferred brand of lock for home security. They lock and unlock smoothly.

Cons

Dead bolt hangs limp like a wet noodle. New locks sent are all keyed differently. Go with baldwin.

These are junk. It feel very cheaply made. I regret not spending more and getting better quality from anybody other than quikset.

This kind of speaks for poor quality control but kwikset’s customer service is so good i’m not removing a star

The image is a little confusing since you only see the sides with the keyholes but you also receive the other sides which are nonkeyed

Price

They look good and price was better than at the local big box stores

They dont feel as sturdy or secure as more expensive locksets but to replace several locks at once kwikset is a great value

Competitiveness

There are other companies who make door knobs and locks but having kwikset locks on my doors both inoutdoors puts my mind at ease
