My 80lb german shepherd underwent emergency surgery. Quieter when bonking into walls and furniture, less painful whenbonking into your legs. We have a lab who has a scar on her rear leg that she sometimes will lick until it bleeds.
Cons

For that reason we waited until the sutures were almost out before using this collar in case he was able to open that area on his own

The only feedback i would have for the company is to make the cover washable

While the fabric is nice it is not practical outside or when it gets wet
