The thickness was pretty close to the same but i suppose for those that like a more paperlike finish on their surface it wouldnt do
I keep things as nice as i can but accept that sometimes the flaws are what gives it its character

Retail in japan even the popular anime ones dont go for much more than 5usd equivalent
It was certainly a lot cheeper than trying to find a new surface from a seller in uk thats charging 100 my currency for 20 msrp sheet
In fact i was actually surprised to find shitajiki boards in the us that dont cost 20 or more much less for under 5
Shipping
The shipping did take quite a while to the point that i almost thought it had been lost but it did finally show up
That seems to be the case with most things shipping free from japan so no harm no foul there either
