The auto wakesleep works great and with the fire hd 8 plus batter life it doesnt drain as quickly as cases with this feature did in the past

Opening the case backwards takes some getting used to but thats because the kindles orientation precludes the case from opening like a book

If you want the flap on the left just let the screen autorotate
